Lucy and Thierry Grillet are the proprietors of St Elizabeth's Nursing Home, Athboy for the past 23 years.  Starting off with a nursing home catering for 10 residents, Lucy and Thierry have expanded to enable 36 people to live in St Elizabeth's.

Linu Susan Koshy, the Person in Charge, leads the team at St Elizabeth's Nursing Home.

Other members of the team include staff nurses and care assistants who provide care for our residents throughout the days and the nights.  Three Activity Co-ordinators implement an invigorating programme to keep our minds and bodies fit and healthy!

We have two housekeepers who keep the facility clean and tidy. Our chefs and catering assistants provide delicious food and drinks throughout the day and evening.  In addition, we provide work placements to care assistants undertaking the healthcare support certificate and other courses.

Medical care for people who live permanently in St Elizabeth's Nursing Home is provided by two principal GP surgeries, namely Athboy Family Practice and The Surgery, Trim.  Physiotherapy is provided by Physio Direct, and Stauntons Opticians look after eyesight.  Other services are sourced as required, e.g., dental services, dietician, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy.
